SAP CoE Quality Assurance Analyst (Engineer)

Representative Responsibilities

• Perform a range of testing methods such as functional, regression, end-to-end, usability, and "smoke testing"
• Participate in the creation or updating of test scripts (standard and automated)
• Work with the project team and business representatives to understand the requirements and features to be implemented
• Identify, document, and track identified defects
• Provide recommendations for improvements to the testing cycle
• Support the research and verification of reported defects by our automated testing tool or those reported by staff
• Keep the QA Manager aware of testing progress and any challenges.
• Design, document, and implement automated tests to support full application regression testing
• Develop, modify, and execute automated scripts and programs for testing
• Lead/own QA effort for applications/projects, certifying and signing off on functional/project code releases
• Track ongoing project/release status/quality and create weekly reports
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software and reporting out on code/release quality
• Use bug tracking software to record bugs and specific test results
• Develop and maintain application quality and code quality KPIs
• Record and document test results and compare to expected results
• Actively participate in scrums, grooming sessions and sprint retrospectives

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing SAP and its components
• Experience working on a global SAP implementation project
• Experience in Test Planning, execution, tracking tool
• Familiarity with programming languages
• Working knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes
• Effectively communicate with end users to accurately identify and resolve defects/bugs that arise
• Actively participate on an Agile team testing products with rapidly evolving requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with all levels including management and retail partners
• Ability to fluently read, write and speak both English and Spanish
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work in a team environment with coworkers and internal customers
